EDUCATIONAL scholarships

Hilda Shiraki established this scholarship to help meet the needs of Hawaiʻi Baptist residents seeking to obtain a seminary education with the strong intent of returning to Hawaiʻi to minister.

If you meet all three of the following requirements, you possibly qualify for scholarship aid:

1. I have a strong intent to minister in Hawaiʻi upon attaining my degree.

2. I have been an active member of a Hawaiʻi Pacific Baptist Convention church or mission church in Hawaii for more than two years.

3. I am applying to a Southern Baptist theological seminary pursuing a master’s, diploma in the master’s, or doctorate/Ph.D programs:

• Gateway Seminary

• Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

• New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary

• Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

• Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

• Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
